IT HAS BEEN WAY TOO LONG!

Hello everyone!!! So this is the first time in 6 weeks that I have actually been at a decent computer with internet that doesn't cut out...So I'm going to fill you all in! Probably very briefly because so much has happened!!

OKay! So My first week was staff orientation and basically that just involved doing a bit of training, hanging out with the other staff, learning how camp works etc etc!! And getting loads of sun! :) And we did loads of things with our cabin groups!
So my cabin is Mountain Top, which is for the littlest girls and they can be both cute and frustrating at the same time!! Hahahah. My first week was Music and Arts camp, and it was honestly so difficult!! The girls were older than they would usually be, so I had 9 and 10 year olds, and I had no idea what I was doing! Just trying to be their best friend doesn't always works... And I am not great at disciplining. Lesson learned for the next weeks!

So an average day at camp would be this:
8am - Flag Raising
810am - Breakfast
830am - Cabin Clean Up
930am - Devotions
10am - Clubs
12pm - Lunch
1230pm - Nap time (because I had the wee ones)
115pm - Program Rotation (so things like Archery, Nature, Arts and Crafts, Pioneering)
3pm - Swimming
430pm - Change and shower
530pm - Dinner
6pm - Free Choice Time
730pm - Evening Program
830pm - Bedtime.

So it's a pretty full on day!!! We get 2-3 hour breaks every day, and they start at lunch and go through to after choice time. :)

Apart from the 1st week, and the week that's just gone by, I've had 6-8 year olds. I think my favourite age group is definitely the 8-9 year olds, because they are young enough to mostly do what they're told, but they're old enough to understand what you're telling them to do!

It's so hard to write everything that has gone on, because so much has happened that I've forgotten a lot! I've taken a lot of photos, and I've posted a few on Facebook so you can kinda see what kind of things I've been up to!!

At the moment I'm on long break and I am staying in this wee town called Mount Vernon with my friends Shari and Rachel! It's so American here! And tomorrow I am going to Cedar Point, which is a roller coaster theme park! I AM WAY TOO EXCITED!! I will definitely take and post loads of photos there!!!!!!!!!

I can't believe there are only 2 camps left! And they're only 5 days each! And then I'll only have a month left over here! But it's going to be amazing to go traveling! I am so keen to travel! But so sad to leave camp. It is just amazing here!! I am so going to come back next year!

Anyways, I better head off!  I know I havent written a whole lot but it would take hours haha :)

Love and miss you all!!!!!

Oh and P.S. Don't be surprised if when I get home, I have picked up some American Lingo and a bit of the accent... :P
