I'm almost finishing traveling!

Hello!! So at the moment it is 835pm in LA ( 335pm NZ) and I am sitting in the airport waiting for my next flight to Chicago which doesn't leave until 1130... 3 hours to kill and not a lot to do but blog :)

So my first flight to Melbourne was pretty awful.. The seats were cramped and uncomfortable and I found it pretty uncomfortable to sleep :( so didn't.. Which was fine because I needed to keep awake anyway! My next flight to LA was a lot better!! Seats were so comfortable, although at the end of 14 hours my back was in a bit of pain.. I managed to kill all that time though by watching tv and movies, and then attempting to sleep for 7 hours! At first it was quite interrupted, the pilot kept saying things over the loud speaker and then we got some quite bad turbulence! It was like a roller coaster, you know how your stomach drops? Yes. And then the last 3 hours I slept fine, but unfortunately all the way though breakfast :(

I got to LA in one piece though! Immigration and customs were a breeze! Took me about 20 mins! And then the lovely Jenna and Tobin were waiting for me to take me exploring!

The first thing we did was go to the Getty Villa, which was this ancient art exhibition with sculptures from thousands of years ago! It was quite interesting! Then we went to the cinema to see Madagascar 3! It was quite exciting seeing another cinema! Seeing how it worked! Unfortunate for me though I was so exhausted, I kind f didn't make it though the whole movie haha, I just had to lie down!
So because I was so tired, we then went to Santa Monica beach where I just sunbathed and slept for a good hour and a half! It was so hot and nice, and you know what comes with that? Sunburn. I am definitely quite sunburnt and I've only been here a day! Ohwell you can't tan without a burn!
After that we headed to the pier and had a wee look around the rides etc, and went on the ferris wheel!

All in all it was a pretty good day!! Thank you Fikes!!

Bon voyage New Zealand!

Here I am. Sitting in Christchurch international airport about to embark on my horror story of a journey, but saying so I am so incredibly excited!

At the moment it is currently 433am and boy oh boy am I tired! I got about 5 hours sleep, so it's enough to keep my going but just short of a decent sleep haha.

I can't believe that the day is finally here!! It seems like such a long time ago that I started preparing for this trip way back in September, but at the same time it feels like no time has passed at all!

I'm just sitting here with my parents, waiting till I'm allowed to go through security and then I'll be on my lonesome! It's such a scary but exhilarating experience!

Anyways I best be off!! I'll wrote again when I get to Melbourne :)

I'm packed and ready to go!

Hello!!
So with 4 days till I leave, I have finally packed my bags!
They have been sitting on my floor in little piles for the last week and a half but I haven't had time to make a video until today, but now I have and you can go and watch it!

Sorry that it's potentially a little lengthy... but then again on Youtube people have packing videos twice as long as mine!

I can't believe it's so so soon until I leave though! 4 days! Whhattttt! Where has all this time gone! It feels like yesterday it was 4 months. And then 4 weeks. But now, 4 days?! It's crazzzzyyyy!

Anyways enjoy my vid, and I'll blog again on Sunday before I leave. I'll be at the airport with nothing to do, because it will be freaking 4 in the morning.
