Hello!!!
So today is the 30th of May, and it's exactly 10 days until I leave Dunedin. So I thought I would post a quick look as to what the next three days after that look like for me :)
June 9th:
Leave Dunedin sometime after lunch, (possibly 2ish?) and drive 4 1/2 hours to Christchurch.
June 10th:
Arrive at Christchurch Airport at 4:00am. Yes A.M! Why so early? :(
Leave at 6:15 am and fly to Melbourne. (3 hour 50 flight)
Arrive Melbourne at 8:05am (Aussie time)
Leave Melbourne at 9:35am and fly to Los Angeles (14 hour 20 flight)
June 10th: Yes I know. I have to repeat this day twice.
Arrive at LAX at 6:55am (This will be 1:55am on June 11th NZ time)
Wait in LA for 16 hours!!! But it's alright because the lovely Jenna is going to show me some sights! :)
Leave LAX at 11:33pm and fly to Chicago (3 hour 52 flight)
June 11th:
Arrive Chicago at 5:25 am (Chicago time)
Leave Chicago at 8:12am and fly to Ohio (1 hour 15 flight)
Arrive Ohio at 10:27am (Ohio time) (This will be 2:27am on June 12th NZ time)
So all in all, this is going to take me 50 hours worth of travel and waiting to get to my final destination. Awful huh? But it's going to be SO SO worth it! I am terribly excited!!!! And can't wait until next week when I finally leave! :)
Anyway, look at this badass plane that I get to take from Melbourne to LA!!
http://www.qantas.com.au/travel/airlines/a380/global/en
Over 100 movies and 500 TV shows to choose from! (I hope they have One Tree Hill!! )
PLUS they have a self service snack bar so I can help myself to a snack or drink whenever I like! (AND they have ice-cream, and Cadbury hot chocolate!) Who needs first class when this is what Economy is like! Hahaha. OH and I get my own powerplug, so I can charge my phone all flight long!
Anyway, I'll be uploading a packing video soon, it's just taking my so long to decide what I need to take and what I still need to buy. Everything's been sprawled out on my floor for the last 3 days hahaha.
byeeeeee.

Off to get my visa!
So. This morning I hopped on a plane that took 1 hour and 24 minutes and headed for the 'city of sails'. I then took the airbus to central Auckland which took 1/2 an hour, and walked 5 mins up a hill to my aunts. How did this world become so convenient? I swear that the plane trip used to take at least 3 hours, and the bus trip used to take an hour.. I'm not complaining haha, but everyone is so focused on the 'go go go' and 'everything must get done fast!' that people forget to take a stroll and smell the roses.
I guess when it comes time for me to go to the US that I'll have that attitude too.. But I'll tell you all about that when the time comes. It's three weeks by the way. Three weeks.
Anyways, I'm here in Auckland to get my USA visa, and to attend a pre-departure orientation day for summer camp! I don't really know what else to say about that really, because I don't know what to expect..
But I guess I can let you know that ive been taking photos and videos and when I get home, I'll jumble it all together for you to watch! :) sounds like a plan Stan.
In the mean time, here's a pretty photo of my view at night time.
Ex's an oh's.

No. I have not started to pack...
So I know it looks like I'm packing for America already.. Even though its still 32 days away... But I'm actually just getting a rough idea of how much I should take, WHAT I should actually take, and what kind of things I still need to get. Kinda like when you write an essay and you have to do multiple drafts.
Well this is my first draft. :)

Welcome to my blog, bro.
Hello!
As you may be aware, I am going to the States for Summer Camp in less than 5 weeks! So I thought I would make a blog, where I will update my adventures often, and you all can check in on how I'm going!
So this is more of an intro blog, but how about I briefly tell you about the camp that I will be a Camp Counselor at!
It's called Camp NEOSA, and is located in the state of Ohio. It's a Salvation Army camp that consists of 7x 5 day camps, where 200 kids from ages 6-12 come every week! And me being a Counselor, I get to be in charge of 10 girls each camp? Maybs? And go around the different day's activities with them, and be their cabin leader as well! So kinda like a mum, friend, mentor, all rolled into one!
Check out the website here ---> www.campneosa.com :)
And here's a video too shows some of the things I will be taking! I'll be making a lot of videos :)
